French Foug "Citron" Grenade.

 "Citron" grenade, still has the wooden detonator bung in place.

Although this has now shrunk with age and only sits loosely in the body.

Rare to find with original wooden bung still in place as most rotted away.

These were also used as trench fighting clubs by placing a handle into the opening of the grenade and using as a cosh.
