Czech Fatra FM-2 Gasmask and Container.

Czech Fatra FM-2 Gasmask as used by the Luftschutz.

This is a superb example of an FM-2 Gasmask complete with filter and protective cap, lens ointment to prevent misting up and original container and strap.  

The set is in excellent condition with only some surface rust to outer of cannister from years of storage.  Internally it is perfect.

The filter is dated 5th Oct 1938.

Following the fall of Czechoslovakia in 1938, these mask were purloined by the German Forces and used extensively by the German Luftschutz.
