Luftwaffe M40 Single Decal Helmet

A very nice relic Luftwaffe M40 single decal helmet with much of it's original Luftwaffe gray paint still intact. Also still sports 40% of it's eagle decal.

Helmet has a large corrosion hole in the crown but generally only light to medium pitting. Looking at the style of manufacture I would say it is possibly a Quist manufactured helmet. These tended to be a lot heavier and thicker steel and were classed as the Rolls Royce of German helmets.  The helmet still has its inner liner ring and all rivets.
