Kyffhauser Mutze (Veterans) Peaked Cap

A very nice Kyffhauser Mutze.

In untouched original condition, complete with Kyffhauser cap eagle and military wreath and cockade.  Has original leather chinstrap and buttons.

Eagle is a superb silvered version with black Iron cross to breast .

Internally it has complete celluloid diamond with Kyffhauser logo.  Leather sweatband still intact with very little sign of wear.  Inside the sweatband is the Kyffhauser issue label.

Cap has a couple of moth nips to crown and internal padding can be seen, with some further minor nips.

This is a nice cap and has not been messed about with nor has it been hardly worn, looks like it has been in someone's wardrobe since 1945.

Cap band is slightly out of shape through storage, but these caps were not made as rigidly as service caps and where only worn for Veterans gatherings etc.
