Shrapnell Shell And Nose Cap

8.8cm dia Shell complete with Dopp Z/92 Brlg (2 - 41 seconds) Fuse Cap

Shell is Shrapnell and was found on the Somme back in the 90's

Has been in my collection since.

Some surface pitting but completely sound shell, with both driving bands intact. Shell filled with resin, with several shrapnel balls laid on top for display.

Completely inert.

Very heavy weighs 5.5 kilos.
