Early Relic Brass Buckle

This is an early infantry mans brass belt buckle.  Unfortunately the nickel disc with the crown and motto "Gott Mit Uns" has come away with time and corrosion, however, some lettering can still be seen in the remaining attachment solder. 

Found on the Somme Battlefield near Mametz Wood.
