Group of Hitler Jugend at rest
Approx 9.5 cm x 6.5 cm
This is a group of
documents belonging to Philip Kraus who was born on 18/05/1879. The military
pass has been repaired onto hardback cardboard. EK2 holder 10/07/1916. Entries
start from 1902 up to the 24/08/1918. Entry dated 28/03/1915 states he was in
Turkey (Istanbul) ?could have been at Gallipoli?, in 1916 he moved companies and
from Germany moved East to Russia. There are 3 postcard sized pictures which
have been handwritten on with places and names. There is also a small photo of
him.
