Relic British No 100 Percussion Fuze

Relic British Percussion Fuze Cap.

Nose Cap although quite heavily pitted through acid corrosion from the soil, still shows many stamp and inspection marks.  Unfortunately no inspection date stamps are visible.

This is a No 100 standard fuse and was used on most calibre HE shells in the First War 

Found on the Somme near Fricourt
