Rare Artillery Officers No 4. Patt Stopwatch

A very nice Artillery Officers Patt 4. stopwatch used for timing detonation of fired shells on the front.

Nicely marked with the WD arrow and number 19421.

Internals very clean and watch chassis is numbered 14149.

Unfortunately it looks like it has been over wound and the main spring prob needs replacing. (Not working at present)

Came from Albert on the Somme.
